The Product

With COVID-19 dominating the conversation and causing many students to have to work from home, the challenge of keeping them engaged has been on the minds of many. Research was done and led to the idea of a social media app for students that is educational with the goal of providing a way to interact with classmates as well as a way to learn new things.

Research

  • User interviews were conducted before I was brought on as the designer to identify the problem as listed above, and to verify the idea.

  • I created an online survey to get additional data on how what applications students (elementary, middle, and high school) were familiar with, which ones they liked and why, and how they were learning with the new challenges that exist.
